Indrani Mukherjee is a vocalist from Kolkata, who performs khayal in the Kirana-Rampur style and thumri in Purab Ang. Her mother and father were, respectively, a singer and an architect - after early training in the family she studied under gurus from Allahabad and Benares, and was selected as a scholar of the ITC Sangeet Research Academy.
She received taleem from Pandit Arun Bhaduri towards the end of his life, along with extended stints of study by Vidushi Purnima Choudhury, Pandit Ramashreya Jha, and Vidushi Manju Sundaram. She now pursues a successful performance career, singing around the world and appearing at major festivals back home.
Apurba Mukherjee is a disciple of Pandit Shankar Ghosh. He has performed widely in India and abroad, accompanying well-known musicians of the country as well as composing and performing experimental music projects with musicians in the West.
Anirban Chakrabarty hails from a family of musicians. He started his training under his father Amal Chakrabarty. He has a postgraduate degree in music with first class from Rabindra Bharati University. He is a good vocalist and his keen interest in playing harmonium has driven him to master the gayaki of the Kotali gharana under the tutelage of Pandit Manas Chakraborty, the doyen of Gharana.
