Shruti Sadolikar Katkar is a well known hindustani classical vocalist in the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana. Recipient of the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Hindustani vocal music, besides being a busy concert performer, she works as Vice Chancellor of the Bhatkhande Music Institute University in Lucknow.
Her initial training was under the tutelage of her father, Wamanrao Sadolikar, himself a student of Ustad Alladiya Khan and Ustad Bhurji Khan. Sebsequently she learnt music from Gulubhai Jasdanwala. She has performed all over the world at all major venues.
