Gandhar Deshpande is an accomplished young Hindustani classical vocalist, recognized as one of the leading faces of his generation. Music runs in his family, and he received his initial training from his mother, Smt. Archana Deshpande, before becoming a dedicated disciple of his father, the renowned Pandit Dr. Ram Deshpande. Under his father's tutelage in the traditional Guru-shishya parampara, he has been meticulously trained in the rich blend of the Gwalior, Jaipur, and Agra Gharanas (schools of music).
