An accomplished vocalist of the Gwalior Gharana , Dr. Vikas N. Kashalkar hails from a family with music tradition. Dr. Kashalkar received his basic training in classical music from his father N.D. Kashalkar a renowned musicologist. Further, he received his advanced training in music from Pandit Gajananrao Joshi, a stalwart of the Gwalior, Jaipur & Agra Gharana and a violin virtuoso. Dr. Kashalkar's singing reflects all the brilliant facets of systematic training : 'Talim ka Gana', in the language of the music connoisseurs. His melodious voice and intricacies of Taans give immense joy to the listeners. Dr.Kashalkar is a member of the Research and Recognition Committee at the University of Pune and Goa.

 

Parimal Kolhatkar started his taalim of Gwalior Gharana under guru-shishya tradition from his guru Prof. Subhash Kashalkar. After pursuing rigorous training for over a decade he went to Pune and started his taalim of Gwalior, Jaipur, and Agra Gharana under guru-shishya parampara from his guru Sangeetacharya Pt. Vikas Kashalkar. Parimal’s singing reflects all the brilliant aspects of systematic
training: ‘Taalim ka gana’ in the language of all the music connoisseurs. His melodious voice and
impressive "Laykaari'' gives immense joy to the listeners.

Yogesh Karale  has continued his hobby and passion of playing Tabla along with a professional job in the IT industry. He was trained under the tutelage of Maestro Late Pandit Sadashiv Pawar, from Farukhabad gharana, for 14 years and is now pursuing guidance from renowned Tabla player Shree Praveen Karkare. He has completed my tabla graduation course at the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva
Vidyalaya, Miraz. In his music journey, he has provided tabla accompaniment to several vocalists,
instrumentalists and dancers and has also presented solo recitals.

 

Pravin Kaslikar Born in a musical family Pravin was trained in music by his father Shri. Vivek Kaslikar from a tender age of 6. Pravin completed his master’s from Lalit Kala Kendra in Pune and further trained in Indian music from Dr. Vikas Kashalkar. He further honed his harmonium skills under the able guidance of Pandit Pramod Marathe. His style of playing includes Gayaki and Tantakari Ang
