Abhishek Lahiri is a talented sarod maestro and a leading artist belonging to the contemporary generation. Trained under the tutelage of his father, Pandit Alok Lahiri, he represents a unique blend of the Shahjahanpur, Maihar, and Senia Bangash gharanas. Abhishek has performed extensively across the world, including at the European Parliament in France and the Cannes World Music Festival, often as the first Indian artist to do so. A President Award winner in India, his albums, such as "Sparkling Sarod" and "Mood Of Puriya Kalyan," have received Global Indian Music Academy (GiMA) Award nominations alongside those of Indian music legends.
