Tickets are non-refundable.
Parking
Although there is adequate parking available at the venue, arriving early will let you find a parking spot closer to the main entrance and save some time.
Arrivals, Registration and Seating
- As you know, Shadaj concerts always strive to start on time and we would greatly appreciate your cooperation in making this happen.
- Please plan on arriving at least 30 mins before start of the concert to find parking, check-in and be seated 10 minutes before the event starts.
- At the registration counter, please present the Tugoz confirmation email containing the QR code for quick check-in.
- The doors open at 10 am. Please be seated latest by 10.50 am.
Late Arrivals
The auditorium doors will be closed at the start of the concert. To be respectful to the audience and the artists, you may only be allowed entry during a break. Please be seated by 10.50 am. We expect to have a long waitlist and would like to accommodate as many people as possible. Please note that we cannot guarantee seating for late arrivals.
Dress code
Festive Indian / Western. Let the finest fabric of tradition wrap you in its splendor in this celebration. We highly recommend that you adorn yourself in the finest weaves of cotton or silks; garments that reflect the timeless elegance of our rich heritage.

Bhuvanesh Komkali
Bhuvanesh Komkali is a leading Hindustani classical vocalist carrying forward the musical legacy of his grandfather, Pandit Kumar Gandharva, and father, Pandit Mukul Shivputra. He received training from Vidushi Vasundhara Komkali and Pandit Madhup Mudgal. His singing is celebrated for its deep emotive resonance, aesthetic sensitivity, and distinctive stylistic nuance. A recipient of the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar, he regularly performs at major music festivals across India and internationally
Sanjay Deshpande
Sanjay Deshpande’s journey with the tabla began under the guidance of Pandit Sabade, and he later refined his skills through intensive training with Ustad Allarakha and Pandit Suresh Talwalkar. Today, he continues to expand his musical knowledge by studying with Pt Yogesh Samsi and Shri Vivek Joshi. Deshpande serves as a respected Guru at Lalit Kala Kendra, Savitribai Phule Pune University, where he imparts his deep understanding of tabla to the next generation.
Swanand Kulkarni
Swanand Kulkarni is a gifted and versatile harmonium player who has quickly distinguished himself as a prominent accompanist and soloist within the Hindustani classical tradition. He underwent extensive talim under the guidance of Pandit Pramod Marathe at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. His performances are celebrated for their melodious tonal purity, aesthetic refinement, and empathetic musical support. An All India Radio graded artist and a recipient of the prestigious National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, he frequently performs with illustrious vocalists at premier music festivals throughout India and internationally.
Ramana Balachandran
Ramana Balachandhran is a young maestro of the Veena, widely acclaimed for his extraordinary technical mastery and profound dedication to the gayaki style. Having largely mastered the instrument through personal exploration after initial guidance from his mother, Sharanya, and vocal training with Smt. Neela Ramgopal, his performances are defined by exquisite tonal clarity and deep soulful expression. A recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi’s esteemed Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar, he is a frequent feature at major music festivals and prestigious venues throughout India and across the globe.
Patri Sathish Kumar
Patri Satish Kumar is a world-renowned mridangam virtuoso celebrated for his crisp tonal precision, effortless rhythmic spontaneity, and nuanced accompaniment. Trained under legendary gurus Sri Sree Ramamurthy, Sri V.A. Swami, and Sri V. Kamalakara Rao, his playing reflects a distinctive blend of tradition, mathematical brilliance, and lyrical sensitivity. A Top-Ranked artist of All India Radio and recipient of the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, he has accompanied generations of classical stalwarts and continues to headline premier festivals across the globe.
Rahul Sharma
Rahul Sharma is carrying forward the illustrious musical heritage of his father and guru, the legendary Pandit Shivkumar Sharma. His artistry is celebrated for its technical brilliance, emotive delicacy, and visionary exploration of both rigorous Hindustani classical ragas and global fusion. A prolific recording artist with an extensive discography of acclaimed albums, he is a frequent headliner at premier music festivals and prestigious international concert halls across the globe.
Amit Kavthekar
Amit Kavthekar is a highly respected tabla virtuoso and the last ganda-bandh disciple of the legendary Ustad Alla Rakha, continuing his tutelage under Ustad Zakir Hussain. Revered for his exceptional technical command and emotional depth, he has become a leading accompanist for a wide array of top classical musicians. Kavthekar’s versatility extends to collaborations with Western classical, jazz, and fusion artists, showcasing his ability to seamlessly blend traditional rhythm with contemporary styles.
Jayateerth Mevundi
Jayateerth Mevundi is an acclaimed Hindustani classical vocalist widely celebrated as one of the finest torchbearers of the Kirana gharana tradition. Groomed under the rigorous tutelage of Pandit Shripati Padagar—a foremost disciple of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi—his singing is characterized by effortless meend, intricate taankari, and an evocative, soulful aesthetic across khayal, santvani, and dasavani. A recipient of the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar from the Sangeet Natak Akademi and the Pandit Jasraj Gaurav Puraskar, he is a regular headliner at premier music festivals throughout India and across the globe.
Yashwant Vaishnav
Yashwant Vaishnav is an exceptionally gifted young tabla virtuoso celebrated for his crisp nikas, lightning speed, and nuanced musical maturity. Groomed under the rigorous guidance of legendary maestro Pandit Yogesh Samsi, his playing reflects the refined aesthetic, balance, and intricate rhythmic design of the Punjab gharana. Widely recognized as a child prodigy who performed across major platforms from an early age, he has evolved into a sought-after accompanist and soloist, regularly performing alongside senior classical maestros at prestigious festivals across India and abroad.
Narendra Nayak
Narendra L. Nayak is a highly respected harmonium accompanist and soloist known for his sensitive melodic embellishments, fluid fingers, and deep understanding of the gayaki ang (vocalized style). Hailing from Karnataka’s rich musical tradition, he received rigorous training from esteemed gurus including Pandit Vasant Kanakapur and has since become one of the most dependable and sought-after harmonium artists by leading top-tier vocal maestros across India and abroad.
