Ambarish Das is a renowned Hindustani classical vocalist, recognized as one of the promising voices of his generation. An "A" grade artist with All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan National, he is known for his rich, soulful, and sonorous voice, which effortlessly traverses over three and a half octaves. He is a senior disciple of Ustad Maskoor Ali Khan of the esteemed Kirana Gharana. Beyond his solo classical performances across the globe, Ambarish Das is a versatile artist who has collaborated on world music fusion projects, including touring internationally with Maestro Bickram Ghosh's ensemble, Rhythmscape.
Amit Kavthekar is a distinguished Indian tabla player, renowned as the last ganda-bandhan (ordained disciple) of the legendary Ustad Allarakha and a prominent disciple of Ustad Zakir Hussain. Rooted in the Punjab gharana, his playing style seamlessly blends traditional rhythms with contemporary nuances, reflecting a sensitive and dynamic approach. Amit has collaborated with eminent musicians across various genres and serves as a faculty member with Shadaj Music School, imparting his profound knowledge to the next generation of percussionists.
Kavya Veleti is a Boston-based harmonium artist active in the Indian classical music community. Trained in Carnatic and Western classical music, she has pursued advanced harmonium studies under Pt. Dr. Ravindra Katoti of Bengaluru. Kavya performs both as a soloist and as an accompanist for vocal and instrumental concerts. Her playing is marked by clarity, sensitivity, and a deep understanding of raga and laya.
